Nothing to complain about, I had a relaxing stay and will definitely go back there again. Location: the hotel was very close to `` real '' France, Valencay and the garden.
Everything was just right.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with shelves filled with beautiful porcelain. The vintage feel reminded me of my childhood, bringing back fond memories. The general areas were well-maintained and had a cozy atmosphere. As a senior, I appreciated the accessibility of the hotel. The wooden staircase was a bit slippery without shoes, but overall, it was manageable.
I would have loved if the children working there could provide more assistance and guidance for senior guests. Just a little extra support would have made the vacation even more enjoyable for us.

We got great value for our money at Les Charmes B&B. The room was lovely, with a cozy four-poster bed and charming decorations. The location was perfect, close to the beautiful Chateaux Valencay. The staff, especially Madam Zografos, treated us with warmth and kindness throughout our stay.
The hotel breakfast menu could be improved with a wider variety of options.

We had a delightful stay at a charming bed & breakfast in Valencay. Madame Yvette, our gracious hostess, thought of everything to ensure our comfort. the room featured a cozy four-poster bed and beautiful porcelain decorations. We also enjoyed the lovely garden with a gazebo equipped with a fridge and kitchen facilities. the highlight of our visit was exploring the nearby Chateau de Valencay, a must-see historic attraction. Madame Yvette's breakfasts were a treat, featuring local produce and even plums from the garden. the air conditioning in the main bedroom was a pleasant surprise during the heatwave. The house was adorned with stunning lacework and interesting ornaments. Cons: All good! 😊.

The décor at Les Charmes was absolutely delightful, filled with elegant ornaments and charming lace details. Every corner of the hotel was thoughtfully decorated, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I truly appreciated the accessibility of the general areas, making it easy for me to navigate and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Additionally, the location of the hotel was perfect, just a short walk away from the stunning Chateau de Valencay.
If I had to suggest one improvement for a better vacation experience for senior people, it would be helpful if the children working there could speak a bit more English. While I understand that being in France means encountering a different language, having some basic communication in English would have made it easier for us to interact and fully understand each other.

Honestly, I can't think of anything I didn't like!

Sun Terrace: The sun terrace at this charming bed and breakfast is an absolute gem. Picture yourself basking in the warm sunlight, sipping on your morning coffee, and enjoying a breathtaking view of the picturesque gardens. It's like having your own personal oasis, but with the added bonus of delicious croissants and fresh fruit!
But hey, when it's just you or you and a companion, who needs more? The cozy atmosphere and personalized attention make up for any lack of choice.
